My wife and I visited this restaurant as it came highly recommended by a friend as a great place for Mexican food.  When we got there, the Host was friendly and attentive and inmediately assisted us.  We requested an outside table to enjoy the beautiful weather and the area surrounding the restaurant.  Inside and out the ambience was fantastic!

 

Our server, Edith, was very professional and engaging; she let us know about the specials of the day as well as the most popular entrees.  She took the time to speak with us throught our stay and even gave us information on some areas to visit as this was my wife's first trip to San Diego.  You could see other staff interacting with customers and working together making sure your every needs were met.

 

We ordered Chicharrones as an appetizer, which is Crackling pork, chile, lime and it was delicious; I ordered a beer and my wife had a Mango Margarita which was off the hook.

 

As an entree, we both ordered the 3 tacos plate; I had the Filet Mignon, Chicken Al Pastor and the Carnitas and my wife had the Chicken Al Pastor, the Fish and the Carnitas.  The food was amazing and the filet mignon Taco twas the best I've ever had.

 

At the end of our meals, our server brought us dessert on the house just to welcome us to the area, as during our conversations we mentioned that it was my wife's first time in San Diego and it was part of her Birthday gift. The Dessert, "Tres Leches de Cafe", was to die for; to us was a combination of tres leches and Tiramitsu.

This was an absolutely awesome experience and we will sure go back to that restaurant again and we highly recommended to anyone.  So the next time you are in San Diego, go ahead and try it and if you do, please let me know how was your experience.
